My mistake, i typed levy earlier, i do have onebut my main one is a Stephi.Dr Stankface said:I've been using Stephi (thanks Tom!) and Levi straps for years now because they have a few that'll go pretty short and are still padded. I play kind of high but not quite a bow tie.
I'd kill for a leather padded short EB strap though!

Around here at least, Levy is the most common. Guitar companies don't make straps, they spec them, and get their logo on them. If Levy is also the common supplier on the other coast, BP can't go wrong with them. All my EB's [and a few other not-so-lite basses] hang on the Levy strap that's about 4 inch wide leather with the sheep fleece padding. Mine are natural brown, but it also comes in solid black with white fleece. Brown and black are enuf strap colors to 'match' any bass ever gonna be made. The wide fleece strap is very good at distributing weight, at reducing dive, and at looking good.maddog said:I dunno... Would have to be a pretty good strap for me to give up my Levi. Wonder if BP is up to the challenge.
