Hello everyone, relatively new EBMM owner here. I just wanted to say hello, and join the group so to speak.
About 6 months ago, I traded one of my highly modded fender jazz basses sight un-seen for a SR4... it was by far the best gear trade and decision I have made in my 9 years of playing.
After the initial set up, the SR almost instantly became my main axe, even over the one bass I said was my "musical soul mate". Seems that this SR is exactly what I have been looking for.
I string my basses B-E-A-D (Super Slinky's) , as I need a low b for when I play at church, as well as for my regular band. That and having to replace the nut 2 weeks ago (went with bone) are the only mods I know of on the bass.
Anyway, I was told it is a 1994 model, and that seems to line up with the bridge configuration from what research was done. (37805 is the SN)
Needless to say, I am incredibly happy with the bass, and I will be looking to EBMM as I expand the herd in the future.
And yes, I know, no pics, no bass...
