hmm... have you thought of trying out a Parker Fly Bass? I do believe they have stainless steel frets or just get a re-fret with stainless steel frets, probably alot cheaper than a Parker Bass .
cold_lump said:i play with a pick. and yes the inflamation is only on the left hand. mainly my middle finger which i use most. i used to get it on both when i played guitar from palm muting on the bridge. the side of my hand would break out from touching the strings.
i want to let this break out totally dissappear before i play again. should be another day or so. then try again. i may have had some "left over" rash from the pre-rotosound strings when i tried them. i will wait untill im compleatly clear to play again.
i know they make stainless frets, but i wonder what grade they are and if they contain nickel too....

anyway my hands cleared up compleatly and lastnight we had practice. today.........
NO BREAK OUT!!!!!!!!!
i think the rotos win!
i think the problem before was left over rash from the previous strings. we practice again tomorrow and if anything happens by friday i will get back to you. for now..... cross your fingers!
and thanks...... i think........
