Presently, but I hope to get an Axis. I have 29 guitars: Strats, Teles, Les Pauls, SGs, Ampeg Dan Armstrongs, OLP MM1s (EBMM-licensed, anyway), etc.. I love my OLP MM1s, which, while they are not the EVH/Axis, are at least the same form factor and layout, and have provided me an excellent intro to the Axis design. Here are my OLPs:

So far, this has seemed like a nice forum. I should point out that I do own a vintage, mint 1984 Music Man HD 150 212 amp, which has been my fave amp for two decades.

Yeah, I like my OLPs. A lot of people dis them, but I love mine. I'm looking forward to an Axis, as well. Then, maybe a Wolfgang, eventually. Need to have a range of EVH guitars!

I've never played a Wolfgang, but I have played the EVH and the Axis. It must feel significantly different if you didn't like it. Interesting. It looks and sounds cool, however.

I have always preferred the EVH/Axis design, as well. I remember when I first saw it in Guitar Player in 1991, I was like, wow, the first new guitar design in years that I thought was a classic. The OLP at least provides a good entry point, and mine are both great playing guitars. They certainly were very affordable, which is why I bought two, though now I've noticed the price for them has increased since they have been discontinued.

I just know that I wouldn't like one as much as an Axis. I bet I'd even like my OLPs better than the Wolfgang, but from what I've read the neck profile on the OLP is more like the Wolfgang than the Axis.
