What a great guitar! Its in GC Boston, i think it may have been the neptune blue, but not sure, it had a great flame top and birdseye neck, i never tried a Morse before and i must say im blown away!

So... where's the NGD post?! :)

What amp(s) did you get to wail on it with? Besides great neck feel, and great balance - it's tonal variety is it's calling card.

I tried this weekend to set my Y2D to flat pickup settings (Steve Morse style) but switched back to half-way position with the pickups after the first set as I wanted more bite in the sound. It's worth experimenting with the pickup heights --as long as especially the middle pickup is balanced with the others -- as you could nurture all kinds of new sounds in Y2D just by pickup height positions.

is it only my personal feeling or is it real....there is a Morse vibe going on on this forum! :)
more and more of you guys try a SM or Y2D...and you all recognize why a handful of us are so keen on this guitar. :D
go ahead and let's make the Y2D the best selling EBMM guitar ;)

Oh, Joe you are totally right! Huge Morse vibe goin on, and to answer your question on amps i tried with it, was a fender super sonic, i wasnt digging that sound so much, then a mesa lone star, pretty good and then a vox ac 15, and it was a great axe! Great neck!

I love the Y2D and should have bought one when the floyd was non-floating. I would love to see one with the vintage MM trem... That being said I'll probably get a hardtail Y2D at some point.
