I heard from a guy that owns a local guitar store that John Petrucci might leave Ernie Ball and move to PRS but that's not possible...it just wouldn't be fair

thats just crazy talk prs guitars are for old school players like carlos santana and ted nudgent. i know they have that guy from creed and stuff but prs is to religious.lol why drive a chrysler when you can drive fast as hell with a caddi jamming to led zepplin. lol

Im not old school and I happen to love my PRS guitars :) PRS is a different animal not better not worse then MM. Each one does certain things amazingly well. I wouldn't give up either. But like most things in business what it comes down to is $. Am I going to pay $4500 for a PRS or less than 1/2 for a MM that does the same thing? WRONG ANSWER I'm going to buy 2 MMs and pocket the difference :D

Mikael Akerfeldt
Al DiMeola

Hmm, both pretty cutting-edge at what they do and I wouldn't call either "old school".

I enjoy my EBMMs and don't feel the need to bash other player's choices. I'm not sure what that's all about.
