Travis, sorry about the break up, but nice to hear that it was amicable. My advice to you would be to take a week's break from shopping for bass rigs and spend that rig money on some Asian therapy.

What's All This B'in Nice 'n Buddies Jazz About

All this political correctness and macho breakin up stuff is drivin' me crazy

No wonder we don't got no good Hurtin' tunes no more

I'm expectin' at least one decent C&W number now;
some steel guitar, a bit of fiddle ... lot's of cryin'

Who knows, one of those Nashburg hat dudes may even put a few $$$ in your bank account

Okay.

Did you know they can motorize bkes? No heart attack required to ride long distances up hill.

Folks in Colorado don't need much air. :)

My advice for break up aftermath
Combine 1 hefty bass playing session
with a bottle of jagermeister or Tequilla
followed by more drinks with friends at a place where the women are either
cheap or easy.

Sex, Booze and Music the three great distractors for a broken heart (in no particular order either).

10 reasons why your MM bass is better than a woman:

1. Your MM doesn't mind if you look at a Fender.
2. Your MM doesn't mind if you subscribe to Bass Player.
3. Your MM doesn't mind if you slap it.
4. Your MM doesn't mind if your fingers are too short for the first position.
5. You can play with your MM as soon as you get it.
6. Your MM only needs new strings every 6 months.
7. You can loan your MM to a friend. You can even play a friend's MM!
8. You can trade your MM to Shamus once you tire of it.
9. You can talk about the other great basses you had infront of your MM.
10. Your MM will always have a nice bottom.

;)

Last night my girlfriend broke up with me on MSN after almost 3 years together. I proposed to her last month.

I was amazed to see that you guys have similar problems. Nice to see that it's not the end of the world, even though it doesn't feel that way now.

I can honestly say that I understand how you feel. Right here, right now.

God this hurts. :(
