Unfreakin'believable! Very nice score Sir Spud! It's things like acquiring an AL of such magnificence that keeps you moving right up the ALOC food chain. ;)

I had a feeling this was coming though - she sure is a beauty. Get rid of that trem and I'd have to fight you for her! Enjoy that baby - and how about a clip and a tone report for all of us salivating junior members and wannabe members (yeah - that's you KingH! :p )?

Gee Spud, I never would have guessed  :D :D
Well I did have to run it past the ALOC CIC first.;)

Congratulations SAA - since you know the location, password and combination to the inner sanctum and the 3-lock Box, and since you're in charge of its safekeeping anyway, please help yourself to all ALOC "Second AL" furnishings, accessories and accoutrements

"Man those second AL accoutrements are so cool"

Let us know how that that bad boy plays
I wish I had the eloquence of CandidX in this matter.
Everybody had said that you still had the cluck and quack of the single coils which you certainly do. I haven't really cranked it yet through the Marshall but I have played it through the AER which is very Bang and Olufsen esque.
Imagine that the SSS Albert is like a school choir well the MM90 School choir has a few more guys with "Broken voices" in it.

I need to set it up as I want it
New strings
Raise the action a tad
The trem although not floating is very "bouncy" even with 3 springs so I'll add another spring or wind the claw in a bit.

The neck on this one feels slightly different (not just because of the rosewood) insofar as it feels more of a D shape.
I'll have to take a profile of it and compare it to my SSS.

- It needs more sweat to permeate into it - but so far I am liking it.

Congrats man, you will love those MM90's. I know it has been hard for you to keep this acquisition quiet

Hiya Pug - yup as you know I've been through the mill a bit lately, and this is one thing that has cheered me up.

It took a little while for my cousin to get this all arranged and I'm soooooo lucky it has all fallen into place.

I didn't want to say anything until it was in my hands and that's why I had a "TBA" (to be announced )in my sig for some time - lol!

The case is too nice to use so I'll get another.

I'll get to post some clips one day.

If I could have any AL right now, aside from a BFR, that's exactly how I'd want it. Okay, maybe I'd want piezo. Okay, maybe a Dargie version with piezo. Anyway, it's positively fantastic, Spud. Great pics!:D I will have a MM90 AL.

Hiya Rob- If they had made a piezo LEAL I would have scoured the Earth for one.
Man I love the piezo on my other one.

Thumbs up to the MM90's !!!;)

Hiya Norrin
This one was in the pipeline for a little while and it's great that I now have it.
I've been wanting to tell the world about it!!
Don't diss the trem it's solid and is nothing like a floyd. - I hardly use the trem but it's there if I want it. Albert Lee himself plays one with a trem too. (and BP!!)

and I'm sure KingH would love this.

Norrin if you have any more pics of your swirl that you haven't posted could ya mail them to me please
