I've tried to not get too emotionally invested in this, but I'm unable to help myself.

Death To Hoser Pawn Bastards!

I mean, um, I'm sure this guy wants to do the right thing.

Well, now he's either logged off or his session timed out, 'cause he's no longer showing up in the list.

I sure hope he read this thread! But I'd be disappointed if he did, and didn't leave us a progress report!

Still working on this.....now it is a challenge and will be rectified one way or the other.

Psychicpet...no problemo bro. You did the right thing.

IF, and that is a big IF, they sold that bass....they know what will happen. I told them what will happen. I will press it.....I hate theives and those who deal with them. They know the bass is stolen and to sell it will get them put under the microscope by their law agencies....I can guarantee that.

I know nothing about Canadian laws, but I'm ready to guess they are pretty rude for those who commit this kind of robbery, aren't they ?

A slap on the wrist and big hug to bring them back into society.  .

Don't get me started on the justice system here or lack thereof.

I know, no politics in this forum, so I will post no more on this subject.

Call me skeptical but I smell a fish...

It just seems very odd that he logged on and then left. Unless of course he sent a PM to someone we don't know about. But I usually live my life thinking the worst of people I don't know, and sadly, I'm right more often than I'm wrong. But something isn't quite right in here...

Edited as hopefully this is one of the times I'm wrong!!

I think he posted quite a bit in the guitar forum (not that I believe there is one), so he may have not even seen the bass side.

It's been - what? Four months? Five months since his bass was taken?

In any case, what it comes down to is - is there a police report? If not, it's damned near hopeless.

I have tried him as well to no avail...but not done yet.

The pawn shop is getting back with me today. I got some specific information that they are going to give me and I'll go from there.

But, this does raise a flag for me that JF checks in and did not reply to the thread.

Did he PM anyone and if so, what was said if you don't mind me asking.

Yeah, no report was filed. I am working with the pawn shop to get to the bottom of it. But, no report makes it very hard and I will say this....If I posted my bass was stolen ANYWHERE on the 'Net, I would be on that thread several times a day until I was banned. But, that is me.
