J-F, the EBMM basses don't need to go to luthiers! Take your time, and you'll get the neck the way you want it.
In case you don't remember, to get more relief into the neck turn the wheel counter clock wise. Make it one hole at a time, and let your bass rest some between turns (some hours). Make sure bass is tuned to pitch while doing this, and you should have the neck the way you want it in no time.
If there is too much relief in the neck, you might want to loosen the strings some before turning the wheel.

If your not comfortable doing it yourself, by all means take it to a pro. Set-ups are fairly cheap to get your bass in it's optimal playing condition...

I just read the entire thread. You guys are phenomenal--what a team! J-F, glad you got your bass back. If you happen to be in Dallas for the Nov. 4th birthday bash with the Knuckleheads, you can thank them all in person. If you can't be there IRL (in real life) lay down some tracks on CD and send it. Sort of like a musical telegram. I'm sure the guys would love to hear her growl loud.

When Koogs gets back...I will remind him to post it....from what I heard....it was "That bass is stolen and you had better not sell it and takie it off ebay"....
(somehting said on the other end..) "Oh yeah, well I know whos basss it is and if it is not removd from ebay...you will certainly be in more hot water than you can handle"...(something said...) "Dude...yoiu have no idea and in fact, I am going to call the owner of the bass now followed by .." (Something along hte lines of the Canadian tyupe of FBI...his freind works there or somehting. ...)..
