What do you think of the Blue Silhouette instead of the Orange Suhr?

It's got instant product recognition to those in "the know" - and let's be fair - it has to be the Silo. Maybe ask the artist to "catoonise" it as well- I'm sure he could come up with a funky electric blue that fits in with the pallette used in the cover design - but hey, I'm no designer!!!

You've got a good eye for this Spud! I've asked him to do exactly that, he's cartooning it up right now! I really appreciate your input!

Yeah, maybe I'll run into some luck. I've contacted the UK artists relations guy to see if they can loan me something for a week or two to nail the two tunes that require 24 frets. Either a Silhouette or a JP6 would do the job nicely!

COOL UPDATE! A local guitar store wants to host the UK album launch party and this local guitar store has recently become a Musicman dealer! What makes this so cool? 1. they became a dealer after I nagged them for ages and 2. They want to do a Musicman demo day all tied in with the album launch party! It looks like the first show will be to an audience of 250 - 275! Are there any UK forumites here in the Southwest? It would be so great to see you there!

As an aside, do you know if Cornford are even still in business? Haven't heard a thing from them for ages.

Thanks! Good question. I know a little about this but I can't say much what I can tell you is they are in business and will be probably be producing amps again soon. Have a look at this: Welcome to Cornford USA!

I really want to take this opportunity to thank Ernie Ball Musicman for their unending support and kindness! I needed a 24 fret guitar for two tracks on the record and look at what they loaned me for a few weeks:

I am speechless, I will be recording with this on Saturday and I'm dead excited about it because this thing has some serious tone! Also, the stainless steel frets are finished beautifully, it really is a pleasure to play

Hey Tollie! Final recordings and mixing and mastering will be happening in October and then it will be available! Preorders will start around late october Thanks for asking!!
