Oh, I'm sorry. I'm a hardcore Axis fan.

In that case, I agree with you: a good night's rest and clean clothing are overrated!

Hey guys the new instruments look great, I'll be eager to try a new Luke out and the color of that JP12 is out of this world drop dead gorgeous! Also looking forward to getting those new strings on my old guitars. Thanks for all these sneak peaks.

Well let's get back on topic -it is what it is and the parties concerned have been in touch with each other.

I would just love to be at NAMM - it must be a great place to be right now.

Having worked at a couple of the big shows in the UK for Strings N Things I know that the amount of work that goes on in the background is immense - you do really feel under pressure and wiped out at the end of the day. I'm sure that the work I did is multiplied seven fold when you compare it to the EB NAMM booth.

Really really appreciate the input from all at EB 'cos the time they have is at a premium.

Now where's all NAMM Colins vids? lol

Some great stuff there ... what I'd like to see are Tommy's pics when he's done handing all of the guitars for the big show ;)

As far as the LIII is concerned, if it goes on sale in HSS or HH config, don't forget us lefties please! ;) I'd purchase one in a different color than the olive gold. That nice yellow gold color for example... Love the passive pups and the boost. I'm curious to hear that guitar.

I wonder if the chrome covers on the humbuckers will just be an option only as I like them uncovered. Can't wait for full details.

Man am I gassing for a JP12 and a Luke III now! Really caught off guard by the JP12 had no real anticipation for this one, but man the stainless frets as well as the basswood, I am quite interested now!

I'm not real educated when it comes to alder verses basswood... Are we talking a huge difference?

Basswood is usually pretty light. Usually not as accentuated in the mid-range as alder. The top end can sparkle more than say mahogany. That's been my experience anyway.

So he's essentially gone full circle since the original JP is basswood, right? I can't argue with it - I love the tone...

It's still got the mahogany tone block and the maple top. Same woods as the BFR Axis actually.
