Beat Them However Much They Like, But ...

BP,

Do you tell your employees how much folks like me appreciate what they do, and how we admire their commitment to producing quality gear?

(Of course maybe you spoil them to death, and they pay you for the luxury of calling EBMM their home; in which case, beat them all once for me ;)

I wish we had a factory that matched our imagination

I just had a real scary vision. BP walks around like Willy Wonka in the factory, and strings grow like grass, necks like trees, there's a river for each color option (except the less popular ones that have streams and the DD which is a merry little brook), the pick ups grow in what looks like a corn field and so on...

The factory goes on and on, but sadly I cannot continue the tour I got from the golden ticket as I have already evaporated when trying to check out the next big thing in the next-big-thing room...

I don't want to ask BP anything, and the only time I have sent him a PM was to apologize.

something that would get me so far into the doghouse that I don't know if Sterling would ever talk to me again. And so, it will never be asked unless Sterling and I are drunk out of our minds and locked in the same room together. Even then, you all will never know. Muwahahahahaha.

I'd say, "Sterling, I've finally figured out which phone number is which."

I'd also say, "I played the Flaming Biff all night tonight, even though my security blanket black Bongo 5 was at the ready, and it killed. And I saw the other bassists staring at it. It was cool, and they knew it."

And then I'd say, again, "Thanks for that bass, boss."

Maddog why would you want to ask me a question that you knew would be unpleasant?

I saw BP online last night - and I never call him, I figure he'll call me if he wants to talk to me, right? - and I had a question that needed to be answered, so I said what the hell, I'll call his cell.

Only the fabulous Mrs Ball answered and I knew I was in trouble!

Too late, though. I don't have a meek voice, but I went as meek as could be when I asked if Sterling could come out to play.

Anyway, I'll clear up which number is which for you, Steebo. I do now know!

Jack

PS: Mrs Big Poppa is perfectly gracious and wonderful, but I know she's looking at her caller ID and asking herself, 'What?'

What have I stumbled into here? Catching up after being gone is rather a hard thing to do.

Congrats Chuck.
