it never fails... try to be a nice guy (person...whatever...) and you end up getting pooched.
seems like there's always a few spazholes that ruin a good thing, no matter what it is.
fwiw, I suspect the vast majority of peeps on this forum are pretty decent folks, and feel your angst.

But unlike most folks around here, I personally don't have time or patience for 'speculation'. Another forum I used to frequent alot has gotten absolutely stupid with the amount of speculation and increasingly lower and lower IQ questions and posts.
I don't give a hoot what you're thinking about ordering or have placed on order. When you have it in your hands, then post pics and reviews. OK...end rant...

funny though, with all that being said, I have to admit that I did enjoy the teaser pictures here. But I have no problem waiting to see the final product.

Hope this gets settled and everyone at EBMM and on the forum has a safe & fun holiday!

Wow, sorry to hear that happened, I know I learned my lesson. People make mistakes and sometimes don't think when acting. I know I've been there, there is always regret after doing something like this, I know. Thanx for the peeks that were posted.

That totally sucks! I'm sure your IT department can trace the ip addresses and they can think of a few fun ways to prevent this from happening again.

On the bright side, these sneak peek threads are the main reason I own my Albert Lee HH today. I got so excited watching you guys build it that I bought the first one I could get my hands on right after they were introduced. (Still drooling over the 3HB proto type you showed us btw) Even though we are a small part of your business and prob the biggest pain, just remember that the risk of some A-hole breaking into your private space can be worth it if it generates buzz for a product. It still sucks when something like this happens...

Your IT department should be able to see what IP addresses were involved in this and then block the IPs from accessing the site, forums, etc.

As several have mentioned, get the IP address.

Meanwhile, I'll get the rope...
