Not knowing what the Crossroads stage is, or who the kid is that fronts Ben's band, it was only when I went to Tyler's Myspace page that I found out that Ben was in the band that won the freakin' EB Battle of The Bands. Congrats OldToe! It obviously went down very low key here in the bass part of the world, but I guess it got more coverage over in the excess-string department.

Hey, Boss, you just say the word and I'll fly you and Stacey to Texas for the weekend. I'll even pick you up at the airport.

I'm sure Jack is game.

And thank YOU very much, Mark. I'm not one to shrug off a pat on the back from an Australian Indonesian-biscuit-factory veteran!

Behind every good guitar player is a really great rhythm section. Ben and his brother Andy are a really great rhythm section. Sometimes I think they don't get enough credit for that.

Hey, "what John said" isn't sufficient here.

Tyler is a real talent and I love that boy.

But he's also fortunate to have Ben. Ben does so much more than just play the proper bass parts.

And Andy.

Well, okay, not Andy so much, but Ben, hell yeah.
