I love your Bongo.... The DD1 looks awesome... And I'll admit the NRA decal fits it well. Although the Bongo probably delivers a payload with more stopping power :)

Bongo, 25th/Reflex, Big AL all have that next generation of EBMM mojo in them.

But the 'Standard' and 'Classic' lines still have amazing appeal and tones to die for. Too many great EBMM basses and never enough $$$ - especially right now! :(

EBMM ROCKS!!!! :)

I need to stop coming on here.

I haven't even taken delivery of my first MM yet and I'm already thinking about putting some cash aside for my next one.

Bongo 5 fretless btw ;)

Not coming here will not help diminish your LUST and NEED for another MM bass; it will make it worse....
At least while here you can relish your comrades' arsenals of basses; that helps.
Doesn't it?

And LONDON is awesome btw, along with the rest of England I've had the pleasure of visiting!;)

(but the food....!

Me Too..............

HS is great but there's something so perfect about the single H. My fave EBMM is a silver Bongo H.

..................I like the Bongo H best. That "Silver" bass sounds nice, where did that one come from?!? ;)

That Bongo is beautiful.

There is no way that I would have thought I EVER would have said that the first time I saw one! They certainly are a 'grower'. It's just a shame it's the wrong way around ;)

On the London topic, yeah I only moved here this year and am thoroughly enjoying it (just not the cost!). I also think it's a bit rich for the Nation that invented spray on cheese to insult anyones culinary prowess :p
Although I take my hat of to that Double-down thing - that's a work of art!

I have played many a bass and yet nothing I have owned sounds anywhere as good as my Bongo5HH.....not even my 94 SR5 H!!

Hmmmm....I sit here weighing up getting some nice custom bass built and I think, but will it be as good? The only other thing missing really is a 25th/Reflex 5HSS or a BA5 SSS.

I love my Rays too. I'm all about the 21 frets, the vast real estate between the neck and the pup and the tone that made many songs by Queen, Chic, RATM, RHCP and Tool but the Bongo really takes it to new heights.

One-up.. HHp - Not even Superman can stop it from cutting through...

I'm with 'Ive"...

Seriously, though - anything with that little 'p' on the end is s-w-e-e-t!!!

I've settled on the HHp as my number one. Although I've never dabbled with an Hp I secretly lust for one every now and again...
