Smellybum could have a duel with those, (Oh yes Smelly I haven't forgotten).
Wow, these look great! I've been dying for a Silo, but don't have the quid so this may just be the ticket. What options will be available for each model (guitars mostly - not really interested in a bass)?
the petrucci model seems to be better well build than the olp one...
I've got an axis LE 2007 and a luke and i need a third guitar tuned in D so it will probably be the JP50. The trem seems to be better than the OLP version and the cavity under it seems to be better finished... Hope it's sound good and comfortable to play.
How about the neck, will it be the same shape as the petrucci MM ?![]()
The neck on the JP50 is thin and flat. While it is not exactly like the MMJP, it is very close. The nut width is 42mm on the JP50, which is ever so slightly narrower than on the MMJP. It was very comfortable to play...
I'm so stoked about the AX20... Now I can buy one, mod the **** out of it, and not feel guilty!!!!
Pete, since you played one, are the necks finished or not?
They felt slightly different than the EB oil/wax treatment, but they certainly don't have a gloss finish on them.

The JP50 does have a thinner profile than the rest of the guitars in this line up. Its an even taper. Its got a slight U profile, and is thin!
the AX20, AX40 and Silo 20 use the asymetrical carve. It feels great and is very comfortable.
I hop on a plane tomorrow morning for Indonesia to supervise the first round of production.
Pat, I was pleasantly surprised by the asymmetrical neck on the Silhouette, and I can't wait to get our first batch. Have a good flight!
