the blue one is killer! always loved the look of trans blue EVH/Axis guitars.
no word on the trans black - which is by far the coolest color of all. :)

will the guitars be available in germany as well?

Awwwwww yeah...

Guess who's working 6am-2pm today...only five minutes from Guitar Center???

I'll be meeting with the manager by 2:15 to discuss my new Ball. Get in line behind Tollie...

Don't forget to factor in that I'm on the east coast...

Would love to go to this show, but crossing the pond in the next 24 hrs is impossible.

I can't wait to get home from work to view this thread as a lot of pictures are blocked.

I presume they all have floyds?

i saw that floyd are not same as before, maybe it has been explained before... i think this will be easier to use it...
i just wanted to know what make this happen ?

don't misunderstand my question, but i just wanted what motivated this evolution for the locking tremolo.

OK, I went to my local Guitar Center today and they had no clue on what this was..... I had to write everything down + show them the Forum Thread.....they will research and call me.

Can we have a responsible Guitar Center Contact Person to take our orders. * HINT * HINT *

As mentioned before, the guitars will not be available in the GC stores or on their website until late September/early October. They will be featured in the October GC Buyer's Guide and on their Platinum site. The folks in the stores work in a pretty real time environment. We are partnering with the Guitar Center in Charlotte NC this upcoming weekend at the North Carolina guitar show to showcase the introduction of these guitars to the public. With that said, you should be able to work with your local GC to preorder an instrument. The supply is limited so if you have a favorite color go for it but be prepared for the store folks not to be in the loop quite yet.

It has been upgraded and refined for better performance.

yes it should be the same shade...although a guitar from 1991 and a new one will look a different because the top coat has aged just a bit...I think we made 10 solid gold ones....

I went down there in person, as I said I would right after work. They had not heard anything. I gave them a printed copy of the first post of this thread with my phone number and dollar signs written on it. The manager will look into it and 'get back to me'.

Don't bother buddy, I'll be calling you at 11am tomorrow to see if you've learned anything.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Err, the Axis in this case.

Thank you for keeping us posted, Glen. I'm sure we all appreciate it very much...keep up the good work.

10? You're going to need more than that :) Will the GC Reps be able to take a deposit to reserve one now or do we have to wait until end of September?

Because we will be featuring them at all three guitar shows Derek mentioned there will be a portion of the 130 that make it to the stores in late September/early October. They will be featured on the GC Platinum site as well. However, if you can make it to one of the Guitar shows it will be worth it!

Does that mean we can buy one at the show?? Charlotte is only a few hours away :)
