hey is there a way of having a coil split done from factory as a custom addon.?? with a push/pull pot on the volume making the Humbuckers split..???? and if not can it be done on the BFRs DIY????

Pretty sure you're not getting that from the factory on any model.

On the Luke you could replace the bridge pup with an EMG 89, or you could switch to passive pups (why?)

On the JP, Axis, ASS, and Silo BFR's, you could DIY.
On the AL BFR, it's single coils, so no splitting.

Sterling has said a few times that a BFR is whatever EB wants it to be. The BFR Gold Roller & BFR Double-neck don't have figured tops or tone blocks.

As far as "easier" things on the forum seem to get muddy quickly. Just take a look at the thread(s) about telling a BFR Dargie 2 JP from a standard Dargie 2 JP.

Ok this makes more sense. Any JP with a push pull is a BFR, any Koa is a BFR, and any limited run that is ordered a BFR, even if they are made of an entirely different wood than most other BFR's, are BFR's. So anything except a standard necked AND standard bodied JP is a BFR, correct?
