Read it on here and also on Facebook that the Luke 2 has been discontinued with immediate effect! Anyone got more information? My dealer got me prices for a BFR version last month and I held off as there was rumours of a Luke 25th at NAMM (which hasn’t appeared) but I’m now reading that I can’t order one now as they were discontinued with immediate effect last week?! They’re still on the website so hoping this is just crossed wires? I’ve had a Luke 2 and a Luke 3 PDN but the 2 was by far my preferred version. Just couldn’t get in with the Transition’s voicing so was going back to a Luke 2 and the BFR in particular.

I tried looking for one but didn’t find any for sale. I found a Luke 3 in the finishbut the Wood was flamed maple, and not quilted.

Hold the press. There’s a Blueberry flame top in the UK! Though the description is a bit confused so need to confirm it’s a Luke 2. Crossing fingers! Would rather have a quilt but as it’s £5000 cheapervthan the quilt in Japan, I’m feeling less fussy!!!

I used to be a quilt only type of person but nowadays I like flame just as much and especially on a Luke. Good Luck in snagging it!

I was in touch with those guys a year or so back and that's still the same stock! I asked if they could send pictures of the top and birdseye on the second one but they said they couldn't do it because it was in a warehouse! Bit strange. If the order window is still open, might still be the chance to get the order I want.

The Luke 2 is still on the EBMM web site, both the standard and BFR versions. Doesn’t look to be discontinued.

NAMM just happened, so it is probably going to take a bit for the website to be updated to reflect the pretty sizable lineup changes.

Also need to realize the BFR stuff from NAMM has not been announced, could be a Luke 25 coming still. What was released from NAMM is the base stuff with the changes to the base.

What? GC is discontinued? So does that mean support and app development will cease?

I don't expect to see any improvements under the circumstances. Unfortunate side effect of a fine instrument that needs software and doesn't maintain critical mass in sales.

I'd been contemplating adding an HH model to the stable, but this pretty well makes the decision for me between that and the AL HH. (I'd really like to have an AL pinkburst - never thought I'd say that when I first saw both the body and color - but I've missed the boat on that, it seems.)
