Is the Valentine not so popular for EBMM?

Has anyone found the perfect dirt pedal for the Valentine?

I alternate between a Timmy & a Cali76 compressor, both work well. Comp is set up with light compression & a healthy gain boost so it gooses the front end of the amp when engaged, acts kind of like a "more" button. Timmy is just a nice transparent drive with great tone-shaping, especially in the low end. Both tend to flub out some with the humbucker unless the coils are split. Still working on it!
