Cool, hope you enjoyed yourself, there is some great food and places for music in Providence.

Lupos Heartbreak Hotel is one of them. The foods up off of Atwells Ave. if I remember right.

TNT I think I have your answer

I agree with this except for Kentucky. As a native Tennessean this is a real sticking point.

From Wiki
The states in dark red are almost always included in modern day definitions of the South, while those in medium red are usually included. The striped states are sometimes/occasionally considered Southern. Note that the Mason-Dixon line forms part of the northern boundary of the striped states

Thanks Norm!

But, if that's the case, my guess of Scottsdale ain't gonna make it!!

Pete guessed it. Dont buy your airline tickets yet as we are still ironing out some details. At the Nashville Namm Show our good friends at the Perfect Bass invited me to come to their "Cars and Guitars show" that they hold each year in Baton Rouge. I also asked them if they would be interested in being our point people and host for this years bash. THey said they would love to but I think that they didnt think that I would actually follow through. In trying to pick the dates the only weekend that seemed to work was the same weekend of the cars and guitars show.

Pete picked up on the perfect gentleman and the bottom line you guys are going to love it....

WE will have a Jamablaya cookoff in the store on friday night and a welcome reception followed by the Knuckle head jam and awards at a local venue to be determined. Saturday will be the car show with our kiosks and a stage with bands ( I havent told James but it will be one of our stages) IN the afternoon we will have a Roundtable hosted by me followed by a Set up clinic with
Dudley, an engineering roundtable with the engineers and Dargie and me with a great local cajun and creole dinner followed by a concert of Ernie Ball Music Man artists.

We are working on pulling this together and will keep you abreast of the details and will try to get it in concrete by the middle of this coming week.

Well, cool. It looks like it's about 8 hours from here by car, which is imminently doable.

Maybe I'll drive the 71 Malibu since it's a car thing, too....

Wow, that's funny timing- I'm going to be in Baton Rouge the week before for an LSU game ... maybe I'll just stay the week down there! My g/f's cousins live there ... finally I can bring her to one of these!

GRRREAT!!!

Looks like I'll drive in from Houston. Don't forget your wallets guys, there are Casino's in Baton Rouge.

Our company has Season Tickets to the Tigers, and we Tailgate for all of the games so this could be one hell of a roadtrip.

Also, Poppa, The Country Club of Louisiana is there in BR.

Thank goodness the word is out. I have been super stoked every since I answered Sterling’s phone call last week. I have a great feeling that everything will work itself out and your guy will be booking flights soon!

I must say that I am very excited to have the chance to meet and mingle with you guys! I have poked around on this forum for a few years but I never became active. When I had the chance to meet with Sterling about the event at NAMM he encouraged me to dig in and become and active member and now I find that the EB forum constantly has its own widow open on my desktop!

If any of you guys have questions feel free to email me directly at [email protected].

See ya soon!
