Hi Guys!

I just wanted to drop a line and say we are alive but not yet kicking. We will return to the office Tomorrow (Fri) with limited staff to open the phones and catch up on the emails. (Store hours may be limited due to the fact that we will be running on generator power.) I’m sure one of the topics of discussion tomorrow will be the bash and hopefully we can sort out a game plan for the weekend of Nov. 15th. If the bash has to be moved I’m going to do my best to talk James into sending me out, were ever it is held. I really would love to get the chance to spend a fun weekend with you guys! I think I’ll just sell it as a good chance to get some “face time” with a bunch of potential clients, he will understand, right?

As for the storm, this was a very bad one for Baton Rouge and its surrounding communities. But, we are a very strong city and we are recovering very quickly! There are a ton of trees that have been pushed down by the wind none of them, I believe to be good for guitar making unfortunately. We did have a few ideas to build a run of special “Louisiana” themed guitars/basses using a particular wood that was native to the area but we haven’t found the right piece yet. There is a possibility that Gustav has now made it available.

TNT & Eggman,

Let’s hope they restore power soon or I will be flying out to stay at your house! Haha

Guys,
I appreciate all of you who have shop with me/TPB in the past and I look forward to serving you again in the future along with the rest of you Knuckleheads!

Thanks again for your support, I’ll be seeing you all soon!

I really want to make this happen with PB. I want everything to be in its right order though If we can come down and spend some money and lift some spirits then that would be great ...if we sit his year out and get out of these guys hair and let them rebuild their homes, businesses and community either way I want to do what is right for our hosts and friends at the Perfect Bass.

I will consider many other alternatives and will get back after Monday when James and Brandt and company have had a chance to get unburied.

Norm...please stop making spelling jokes. I dont appreciate it. I am going a million miles an hour and needles like that just make me wonder why the hell I do it.

Brandt, good to hear you guys are all okay. I'm from Ocean Springs (MS) and know what hurricanes can do - and how long it can take to get back on your feet. All my best to you and the good folks in Red Stick.

Standing by on November and hoping for the best,

Jack

Fair enough and will do. No harm meant.
Party there or somewhere else. 2008, 2009 or whenever. It's all good. I do like the idea of helping out. Still I understand the idea of adding value by staying away.

I know it may not be possible but i really would like to see it in BR, holds more meaning now than before, plus again an influx of knuckleheads only helps the econmic recovery, it is still 2 plus months away so that only adds hope, looking forward to it.

While I agree in spirit, it will also be a matter of dealing with an additional 70,000-90,000 competing for hotel rooms (good luck with a group discount), logistics of transportation, and securing any other gathering places for a large group of knuckleheads. Having never been to Baton Rouge, I'm basing this solely on living in Athens, GA during the chaos that is a UGA home game. Maybe I'm way off base.

That said, if anyone can do it, BP can organize something pretty special in spite of the obstacles.

Lets give James some space and if it works we will have a historic bash if not we will figure out the lovely plan b

BP,

Don’t get me or James started on LSU football. It will be a battle you cannot win! Haha

I hope you are not a USC fan! …???

If we could only find 150 tickets to the LSU-Troy game! (FYI-not a chance!) Saturday night in Death Valley, that could make for a hell of a bash! … in my book at least!

Thoughts and best wishes are with everyone in Louisiana and Mississippi at the moment - I hope everything gets sorted quickly for people in general, and for you guys and the bash plans!

Unsure if we can do this one - need to do some re-jiggling of holiday and our workload coming up to Xmas is horrendous, but we'll see what we can do. After the fun of London it would be great to hook up with you guys over there :)

Gee, you don't visit for a while and look what happens!?! Bash plans.. BFR ALs being delivered... :D
