I just got the G&L Tribute L2500 that I ordered from MF. Can't wait to get it home and play it. I won't get a chance until late tonight since I have to play trumpet at a rehearsal as soon as I get off work.

congrats
Dees said:really nice oneI didn'tk new the tributes were that beautifull. I recently played a G&L L2000 and was really surprised by the sound of it. I heard tributes come prety close and play almost as well, so I'm really interested in one. I'm thinking of selling my warwick Corvette and getting one of those tribute 5ers.
But what about the neck, is it like a stingray big and wide? because that's what I want, and so far, the stingray neck is the most comfortable I have ever played.
btw: If anyone wants to buy an active corvette?![]()

Dees said:Anyway, about the G&L Tribute, you think the bass is able to play some metal with it? I know it's great for all kinds of rock, funk, and stuff like that, but is at any good for metal? I know the Stingray sounds great for metal (I know, not the average metal bass, but it souns great for it).
So actually, I need a versatile bass (as I play oldies rock, some funk, metal & progressive) with a very solid neck, so I can frequently change tunings
