Thanks everyone! We've been really busy the past couple days painting the house inside. We've never painted walls like this before and man, It's a lot of work! ESPECIALLY THE COLOR RED! Never choose red! EVER! Haha. YouTube has been a FANTASTIC resoruce for us. I'm becoming a handy man before I know it.

I'm going to cut it short for now. I have to be up early to move furniture tomorrow. Ill post picture soon! I had a thread that i posted earlier with pictures of the home if you guys want to dig around for it.

Btw, a bit of advice, try to find a handyman that you can trust. My wife and I have done a lot of work on our house in he past few years. Some of it, we could do, but some of it we were able to have done by a handyman that we trust

Also, Angie's List is pretty awesome for finding contractors for big projects

Congratulations!! When I built my house, everyone told me how hard the first year would be. I didn't believe them. They were right, but once the initial shock of paying mortgage eased.. Life gets better and better, and you wonder what all the stress was about. A wonderful milestone for your family mate. Well done.
Cheers

Home ownership is fun, stressful, expensive, time consuming, a pita and rewarding all at the same time. Enjoy it. Claim your guitar space before it is gobbled up by a designer chair or something of the like.

Congrats, now get back to painting! :)

Thanks! At first we were kinda at each others throats due to all the stress but, were just loving every moment now. Funny how that happens.

Great looking house and congratulations.

Studio?!?! I had one of those once, then kids came along and now my "studio" consists of me lugging amps to whichever part of the house no body is in.

Haha. I totally see myself becoming this once we pop a kid or two out. Right now I'm just enjoying the plethora of space! I acquired a pretty decent audio interface recently and have been playing around with logic, amplitude and garage band. I can't really seem to dial in and get the tone I want yet! It's all very new to me and I have zero experience with these programs. Soon I plan on posting a razors edge solo cover.
