Ok... I never considered the Axis before because I thought it was too small and no contour. Doh... I called up my delear today and told him to order one of these for me at NAMM next week. Quilt top, rosewood fretboard, and vintage trem. I guess I should have asked how much first...

Ok some thoughts and comments after playing it most of the day (very loudly, I might add!)

This is really the next rpgression in the stuff that the 20th brought to the table. We have added the chambering....the guitar just sings and does not feel or sound like a semi hollow. It is just the whole package as far as singing......

It just feels alive.

The five way works in serial and the you flip the toggle and you get 5 different parallel sounds...very subtle with high gain...fabulous clean. I got pretty good flipping the switch when I was playing. I have to give props to the spider jam 75...seriously after playing all the vintage tube stuff it was great to play with some of the tracks and some of the presets.

The bass sounds better solid for some reason and so we will offer the guitar chambered with a tone block and and the bass with a toneblock and solid body wood
