Okay, as soon as they "open for business", I'm ordering several for stock.
Color suggestions, guys????
that black Cherry looks VERY VERY sexy!

I can't believe they did this...these are the EXACT mods i would do....slightly larger, and the body contours....please tell me you're NOT changing the neck profile!

The 25th definitely has got my name on it... what a fabulous looking beauty!
If it sings the way like BP says, it could become the love of my life!

Well, the 25-th is deffinitely not my thing, either... I mean, the colour is absolutely brilliant and the woods lok stunning, but the guitar itself is not for me. I expected it not to be a modified axis (why I don't know), and the bigger body size brings it into the region of Gibson/PRS (and basically all the others), which to me is not a good thing. But that's just the way it goes - You can not suit everybody with a highly exquisite and "personal" guitar design like this one, and one thing is for sure: it certainly sounds absolutelly great.

On a side note, EBMM has done many of us here the greatest possible pleasure with the 20-th silo, which some guys on this forum don't dig at all (and why should they - we all have different tastes, and that's deffinitely a very good thing :)).

We make tons of models so we can make each and everyone of you happy

Yes and we all thank you for that and show total respect for your sense of innovation and for what you bring to the music today.

So far I love this guitar but again this is as stupid as saying I don't love it as I haven't played it yet

So I would say I love the Shape, The color, the pickup wiring, the chambers :p

Great colour , great concept.

As far as hollow goes:

I recently had a chambered Nik Huber prototype for setup and while testing it I forgot the time and didn´t realize I got lost 30 minutes. The resonant tone of chambered guitars is comparable to old dry wood which has been played for years, in my opinion. I´m dying to hear the 25th Axis and the colour: WOW!
I guess the 25th is going to please a lot of people.

I love the concept and plus the toneblock I really look forward to it and the weight will please every pro player who has to play 4 set of 45min a night.

Another major step for Musicman I think and I bet at the next Namm you see copies of that concept everywhere. (shame on them)

All the best

Mick

Big Poppa, that's exactly what I have said - You not only can, but You DO make us all happy with the guitars You make. And I've yet to find an EBMM that does not sound great, that's for sure!

That, however, does not mean that one can not judge the looks of the guitar without seeing it in person. That's the way it works on E-Bay - and it mostly does work, and for many of us here as well, as You know. And while the decision to make a slightly bigger body will surely appeal to many people, as I often hear the criticism about EBMMs beeing too tiny, (which is absolut rubbish), it won't appeal to me, because the axis body already feels a bit too big for me.

So, it's just a personal preference, and it will most likely stay like this even after I have tried the 25-th, which I'm very eager to do, but it's not to criticize You in any way. I ADMIRE THE HARD WORK, THE KNOWLEDGE, THE PROFESSIONALISM, THE DEDICATION which You and all the people at the EBMM show with everything You produce. I just don't like the looks of that particular guitar :)

NO PROBLEM DK...HEres the deal...this was a chance to do the Axis over and we made all the changes we wanted and thought that the public would like. We didnt replace the Axis just added another choice...I can see your points but I also couldnt put it down. It was so ergonomic.....

I agree raving about it is the same as criticising it........its all good.

I know that I will be playing his one for awhile....until the next one!
