... seem to always happen when he holds a Music Man guitar in his hands. We saw "John Henry" at the Royal Albert Hall and now THIS. Sorry, if this already has been posted or discussed, but I just can't get enough of this clip and wanted to share it with you guys!

I really loved Bonamassa's tone in his Strat playing days (A New Day Yesterday sounded brilliant to these ears), but with his current Les Paul trip you have this great warmth but without the cut that I loved about his Strats... Whenever Joe picks up his EBMMs it really is the best of both worlds: warmth with cut!

Love it!

WOW.....I really enjoyed that. The kind of song I'd love to listen to on a long road trip!

Haven't been a JB fan for that long, he always used to play LPs. I got this video recently and was surprised he was playing that DL. I guess he likes the DL's because of the beefier necks, beautiful guitar. It's my favorite song of the DVD.

Actually the DL was Designed for JB. that is whay it has a beefier neck, becasuse Joe plays 50's Les Paul guitars

I saw Joe in Prague last February, he had the Dark Lord with him. Actually, we got to go on stage before the show and talked to Mike his guitar tech and check out his guitars including the DL. He played it that night but I cannot remember which song.....I think it was this one though.

I don't like his LP tone at all.

Just had a look at the booklet of my Bluray and the "Darklord" is not featured at all among JB's gear list. Seems like Gibson has strong ties around Joe's arms and legs.

I may be in the minority here, but I personally love Joe's humbucker tone leaps n bounds over his older strat tones. And the tone he gets from the JP and the DL are positively massive!!!
