The baritone guitar is a variation on the standard guitar, with a longer scale length that allows it to be tuned to a lower range.

If I had the money I'd buy one right now. But not the baritone, just a regular in Tobacco burst. I wish Ernie Ball would do the color that JP had on his BFR prototypes.

I know a few guitar players with Baritones tuned to standard pitch. They love the tension and wider spacing of the frets. They have monster hands, though.

Great Job!!!! and Thank You for sharing. Previously people asked about a custom shop at EBMM. All I can say is Pfft.
EBMM is the custom shop.

WOW WOW WOW

I love the purple and green, imagine a BFR AL in those two colours!!!!! Bring on NAMM!

I was kinda hoping for the natural for the BFR Al and SiLO. Just simple as it can be with a trem. That Purple and Green bursts do look amazing.

25 1/2 = JP6 and every other guitar scale length
27 1/2 = JP Bari scale length
29 5/8 = SiLO Bass scale length
34 = Every other Bass scale length

I think the piezo trem on these instruments will make it one scary beast.

Is "A to a" the preferred tuning for these monsters?
On the other hand,

Just a thought, but with lower tunings, I thought the D-Sonic was generally put in with the blade to the bridge to get more definition. BP or someone else who officially knows, did you guys get the D-Sonic voiced differently for the JP Baritone models? Many thanks in advance.

Wait... does this mean what I think it does? Is it possible to order a Petrucci BFR model in tobacco burst or whatever that colour is??? If that's the case, that's exactly what I've been waiting for!

Tobacco burst is my second all time favorite color on a guitar. I'm building a strat and I hope to replicate that color...

Funny how my first two favorites are Blue Dawn and Autumn Redrise Sparkle! Good job picking colors, EB. Anybody want to paint my house?

I just LOVE green guitars!!! Am I the only one who noticed the old-school arm scoop on the body of two of the baritones... If I can get the forearm scoop on a trans green 7, I might just have to eat my own words regarding not getting a BFR...

Cheers
