ok you are...hehehehehe all being little b!tches

WE get exactly 10 minutes at namm to give you something...as for the background and his clothes...I dont think JP has worn a white shirt since junior high gym class
sound clips would have happened if his rig wasnt in New York...these were filmed at the NAMM show. We would never post sound clips with anything but his rig can you imagine the critique we all would get even if we explained it wasnt his rig?

Because it's an evolution of the same guitar. If the BFR is the next step in the evolution of the perfect guitar and better in every way than the original, then of course I care and of course it effects my decision.

Doesn't that make sence to you?

Evolution of the perfect guitar for JP...not necessarily for you. For instance, they changed the scoop on the BFR because JP has massive forearms now in comparison to when the original model was built. This is something that is very relevant to JP, but for a lot of people (especially the skinny nerds on this forum :p ) this is not an issue.

Where was I not nice to someone in person ? I dont get it.

I will seriously state that these videos are something that is much better than nothing and more than most forums offer. Im glad you are a graphic arts major.....but really now that you have thought about it have you ever seen jp in a light colored shirt?

Im glad that is your favorite forum but I think that we show more and offer more than most forums.....

You know what? I totally misinterpreted the tone of that post. My apologies. I should have known better. :(

The Duncan board is my favorite board overall, but this one shows more behind-the-scenes stuff going on with the company, and I really do appreciate and love being able to go right to the source to get all the down info on my favorite guitars.

I guess I just misinterpreted your sense of humor. My sincere apologies. That post just didn't seem quite right coming from you and I took it the wrong way. My bad.

Cool video, but the mytsery remains: how does it sound. After quite some time we still have to hear it.

Either it is so good no video does it justice :), or it is just so similar to the BFR JP in tone that this is not a unique selling point.

Thanks....

Once again for those hard of reading...ANOTHER JOKE These were done at the NAMM show with JP wearing his trademark clothing ina hotel room with what ever backdrop we could rustle up from the hotel....We will not ever broadcast soundclips with out his normal rig. You guys are way to anal about the tone and even if we explained it there would be people who would post.."even though it wasnt his rig this guitar sucks...or whatever you guys get my drift....When we get his during sound check on the next tour we will get to video more

Yeah, I don't think I've seen JP wear a light-coloured shirt in a loooooooooooooong time.

Does this makes me the winner?

If it helps at all, I think Mesa is working on a rig demo of his new Mark V rig and I think it was taken during the God of War song recording, where he probably had the JPX. They posted pics of his rig on Twitter, and Jordan Rudess took pictures from the same session where you can see the JPX. So I'm sure we'll see something soon. Plus DT starts touring in early March so we'll probably see some live action from Youtube.
