Hey guys, i have this issue with my JP6 i recently change the nut and now the action at that point is to high... i've notice the nut has a little extension to secure it into the wood... but my question is how can i bring down the action... thanks :p

Nuts can't be made to perfect height right out of the box. In the factory the nuts slots are filed to the correct depth when fitting the strings. You could also remove material from the bottom of the nut before glueing (with a small amount of wood glue, not super glue preferably).

A good luthier or guitar tech can fix it right up for you.

why did you change nut in the first place?

Drop back and look at the nut. You have 3 choices when attempting to "lower" the nut action - you'll see them.

Now pick the one you want to gamble on.
