So.. I'm fully aware this could be complete user error and I could be just an idiot..

I've never used locking tuners before, and I picked up a JP60 over the weekend. Went to change the strings and now I can't get the new strings into the tuners. It looks like whatever mechanism is used to lock the string in won't release and allow the new string to pass through. Hopefully someone here can help me un-stupid myself on this..

Thx..

On the backside of the tuning machine, you need to turn the large thumbwheel that makes up the rear of the machine.
It will lower the mechanism and release the string keeper. Reverse this to lock the machine.

If you need further help, email me directly at [email protected]

Adding to the post above: you simple didn't unscrew the thumbwheel enough.
