Hello Everyone,
My JPXI-6 has "BFR" engraved on the plate where the screws hold the neck to the body, but the BFR inlay is not present at the 12th fret. The case I received by guitar in also shows "Ball Family Reserve" on the cover for the accessories area.
The MM page does not flat out declare this model to be a BFR, but rather "the JPXI will feature a combination of top appointments from JPX and BFR Petrucci signature instruments".
Is the JPXI model a BFR? This doesn't really matter to me - it's a very fine instrument regardless - but I would like to know just for the sake of clarification.
