and really, Spectre, it's just a really nice resort in a really nice area. Fantasy Springs is right next to the 10 and the views are so-so compared to the really beautiful views in the La Quinta cove. I say "really" too much.

DUDE! Radrock got to see The Police! Fantastic!!!

OK so now you guys that were on the fence due to cost may want to consider splitting a room as they are two room suites and in some cases one bedroom appartments forthe rate.

I cant begin to tell you the stuff thats planned and this will be the most deluxe one for the least amount of money possible for you forunites. I dont want ot tell you the budget but it would buy a nice porsche....new...

We haVE JUST ADDED A BIG BOTTOM BONGO JAM...featuring Me, Dave La Rue, LA Session Ace Dave Marotta, Matt Bissonette, Cliff Hugo, and a few more top LA cats that love the bongo.....WE have Steve Morse Blues Sarasceno Tony Spinner, Luke if the baby is here and that is just the start. We are calling in a lot of favors from la pros.

THe Biff Baby's Jam is at the same place that they hold the World Famous Coachella Festival and we are lining up bbq ace Big Willie who is the real deal.....

I keep torturing you until you cannot say no

Nooo... I have to come now... oyyy!

Seems like $450 for a round trip ticket, plus $110 for hotel stay. I don't know if i can budget this in, as unfortunately I'm going to Mexico this week! To make matters worse, my BFR might arrive while I'm gone hehe.

I'll make the decision asap.

this is huge!!! I love it!!:D Hey Guys this resort your staying at is top notch!! They have a great bar/foy-yay(Patterson High Spelling) area that will serve as a perfect Knucklehead Central Meeting Zone...I'm sure the bar tenders will know Jack by name after night #1. And the rooms really are top notch...it's a new resort so all of the rooms are very plush and up to date. Plus, for the wives, there is a "full service" Spa on sight!! There's a "trump card" for the boys still trying to convince their better half.

No torturing necessary...I'm in plus one. If my memory serves me correctly, it's Ketel One, glance at a bottle of dry vermouth, and blue cheese stuffed olives. (or was that jalapeno stuffed olives?) I'll bring both! See you there. Capt. Don

I was just forced to vote (Beth PMs me, can you believe it) because funds are tight here at Camp Bovine what with relatives with medical bills and whatnot, and I voted "maybe" but I'm working on being more definite.

Keep a good thought for us here.

Hey guys....listen to BP and Beth. If your looking to save some $$, book your room with a fellow Knucklehead. The rooms are more than big enough for each Knucklehead to have plenty of wiggle room. All rooms also have a door that closes off the bedroom section from the living room section. You won't be crammed into a "typical" hotel room...these places are nice! We've got Friday....team up with a Knucklehead for Saturday and its only $55 a piece!! From the looks of the buffet breakfast its just about worth the price of admission. Book it friends.....we're excited to show you the Desert!! This is kind of like the "Meet the Fockers" of forum parties!! :D It's going to be nothing but good times!!

Ya know what's funny? The last thing I had that even partially resembled a vacation (I haven't had one in 20 years, I'm not kidding) was the EB Open House. Now I'm going to Indio.

ditto! the only vacations ive had since after highschool have been EBMM parties... open house and jack's bday. ive worked at startups since my freshman year in college and i never get time to bail and relax

ill be there for sure!

Oh My, I wish SO MUCH that I could attend!
But I dont have any more vacation time from work, and I cant really afford to just take off without pay, I've got a Blue Dawn to pay for!!

Maybe next time! But I do hope that everyone has safe traveling, to and from, and I wish you guys all the best and I hope you have an excellent time, you gotta have a blast with all the stuff BP and the crew have planned for you!

PLEASE take plenty of pics and post them so those who cannot come can somewhat feel '' apart '' of the action!

This year?! Cry me a river man! lol :D

It's been 20 years for me at least. I've been married for 9 years and never had a vacation with my wife. :(

Amen to that! My wife basically demanded that I take her with me!

I told her it was just a bunch of knuckleheads talking about guitars.

But she insisted! :D

16 years and no vacation together! It's time.

Wow....

all I can say is wow...

You guys let 16, 20 years go by without a vacation??? Oh dear... Man, you guys really need to get out more. :D

The wives will LOVE it here! Make sure that you ask your significant others if they would like to go on the shopping trip on Saturday. El Paseo is really upscale, but if you'd like the upscale products without the upscale prices, there's Cabazon outlets.
