I only know the original version but I reckon it is about three chords no matter what, so count me in if you need me. If someone else has already volunteered, I'll also be happy to sit around and make fun of you, so no worries.

Well Jack, I don't know if anyone around here is looking for some gig-time with an unknown European like me, so as far as I'm concerned, go ahead. I'll see if I have some MP3 of this version somewhere and then I'll send it over to you. Might be something for tomorrow or Wednesday though...

Gr, Tom.

I love foreigners!

(No, really - my wife used to be one.)

Don't worry about the mp3 too much - it's three chords and I'm a bassist.

In addition, "can't get enough of your love, two tickets to paradise, and china grove" I can do too. My forum name is Mike Teves/TNT

Thank you

I think I can speak with some background on this question, and the answer is "Hell no." The idea got all sparked up over on the bass forum and no one could agree to anything and this was without anyone official saying it maybe could be done.

Try it over here and see. If forty people respond to the thread, you'll get nearly forty different ideas, some of them bordering on insanity, as to what the Limited Edition Forum guitar should be.

In the end, IF it could be done, it would still end up being something like a non-stock color. We're not going to talk the factory into re-tooling in order to install gear shifts, monkey heads, non-stick cookware, etc etc etc.

But I'm telling you - even with just a color, it would be tough to get agreement and then actual money down.

I haven't given up, although I might be lying about that.

Jack

thank you to the mighty cow god bovinehost for explaining what LTD meant. Now I feel really silly, since I have just revealed what a non-gearhead I actually am. I own exactly one, count 'em, one guitar and I haven't played it in at least 3 or 4 years. Suffice to say that the one guitar I own is NOT an EB.

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Tommy (in delaware) - what can I say other than THANKS. Without the organizational force that you've been, we'd all be still trying to fix 150 songs into 3 hours. You Rock!!!

I just realized that I am playing a ton... if there are any bass players who want something that I am playing... step right on up (it will give me a chance to get to the bar :D )

You mean BP isn't gonna have the country club put a bar onstage? Seems strange to me!
Maybe I should wear one of those beer hats... I have one of the 2 beer variety, but maybe I should splurge and get a 6 pack!

not everyone will be playing on a song just because they requested that song. we will have to devide the duties as evenly as possible.

if someone does't have at least 2 songs...to PICK from that they like....let me know.
this is the only combination of songs that has bass , guitar , & vocals covered.
