Or the Dude Pit without the Dude

Maybe, but Johnny Weismuller could swing from tree to tree on vines and fight through herds of crocodiles using only his knife as a weapon.

Not to mention Maureen O'Sullivan in that little strip of cloth that so vaguely covered her naughtiest bits.

And the chimpanzee.

Now, let's compare........

We Toto-goers gotta figure out rides. Maybe, share cabs (if there are any) to save some cash. I don't know. I'm sure some will have cars, but who knows if that will be enough?

OK First off with apologies to old ladies you guys are like old ladies.......The show is 7 weeks away and the deadline for sign up is the 19th of Sept and I promise that no detail will be left out.

Now keep in mind that our party does not include the Toto show. Please realize that in New York they would say that you have a big ass to ask anything outside of our already generous events....that being said Lets see what is what and if the gig happens and then we will of course take care of you genius'

Guys, I will have a car too - but let's be courteous to BP. We all obviously don't EXPECT him to provide transportation to Toto as it's not part of the package. However, he did ask us to hold off planning on this until things firmed up. I'd suggest we wait on any formal planning/meeting spots, etc. until after the 19th....

Oh. Okay. I thought we were going to do this ourselves. You know, kind of like, "I feel like it's too much to ask for BP & Co. to pay for this too. So, we'll just figure it out ourselves."

Random observations -

Assuming that we are all shacked up at the same place - turning the EB Suites shuttle from airport duty to Toto duty will be a non issue. Borrowing from BovineH - there are a "f*ckton" of us in town. For the non road warriors - you'd be AMAZED what a $100 tip to a driver can accomplish. I wouldn't sweat the details on this one.

That's probably true.

Phone number for the cab company a couple of us SLO people used to get back and forth from the Beer Hunter and the Hotel. Handy to have cab #'s stored in your cell phone for when the inebriation arises
