MMMMMM Yummy!!! :D I love flamed Koa tops! My next custom (should be done in December too!) has a ridiculous flamed koa top! Gotta love it, Koa has this amber/golden glow in person too... so cool! :)

I emailed Private Reserve Guitars, and they said that the Koa Axis' are not there yet, and won't be available until some time in October. Apparently, they won't take deposits either.

(dammit smile, if possible inserted here)

A salesman at PRG said that they would be selling in the 2800+ price range.
I'm going to buy all of them (as long as they'll take monopoly money)

He didn't say. He said that he really didn't know much other than they should have them some time in the middle of October. I wanted to give him a deposit to hold one, but he couldn't do that.

They usually discount 30% off retail, so I'm guessing around 3900-4100 retail.

BP, you're right when you said I got it bad...
I have the first orange one, just found another one (red quilt with rosewood) that will be here any day. I have the orange axis floyd on order, and I'm going to try to get one of the KOA ones.

Both models have the same retail price. The hard tail is a burst, and the trem is natural, so that's why they are the same.

Our systems work against us sometimes for the high end/specialty guitar business. Looks like we won't be able to get these received and in an orderable status until Monday now :-( If they hadn't actually be received the same day we were trying to set them to pre-order status we would have been good.

The good news is a few lucky guys will have them ship out right after they get there orders in. Looks like we 3 somewhere in our warehouse, they just arn't in the PRG room yet.
