Pete, thanks for doing this. The clip was great and I'm glad I didn't order the koa with the all rosewood neck now... I think it would have been too dark. Man the pictures on your site do not do your Koa justice... I amazed at how amazing that koa top looks in the new photo. Now there are at least 2 Koa Lukes that I really like... Unfortunately I'm stuck with my current dealer and I didn't want to take a chance on ordering a Koa because they seem to vary quite a bit from each other... the differences are pretty drastic compared to flamed or quilted maple tops. For now, I've asked my dealer to order me the new 25th Anniversary Axis as a replacement to my first BFR. My goal is to just buy a Koa Luke I like from another dealer rather than order one in the next month or so.

No problem, I had fun doing that clip! .009s and mistakes aside, I think it is fairly representative of what I heard when I played. A glassy clean that just begs for more, and an overdrive that rips. I guess using a decent recording device helped :D I might even work one of those licks into a new yellow9 song... album coming soon!

Pete thanks for your help. That is way kind to go to all that trouble for a person who intends to buy elsewhere for whatever reason. Great service pete

Trust me... I would much rather buy from someone like Pete, and you are right this is very kind of him. Unfortunatley I paid cash for a BFR the beginning of November before I started really hanging out here and talking to Pete... I can't get my money back from my dealer, or else I would be dealing with Pete... I tried. The one thing I can say is that after I'm with this purchase from my current dealer, I will never do business with them again. I look forward to dealing with dealers like Pete in the future... quite possibly near future too. ;)

Thnks for the clip Pete! Yes it describes the sounds very clear.. and that Koa is a killer .. hope i could get one for me someday, right now the possibility is low considering the place where i live.. :D

but anyway, it is very kind of you to help us recording the sounds of the guitar.. i don't think many other store/person will spend their time to do that for us.. If i live in US, definately you will be my favorite instrument distributor.. hope the success will follow you wherever you are.. :)
