Question L3 - Battery Life

Just curious how often everyone with L3's are changing the battery? Mine battery is a little over 6 months old. Big gig today!!

LOL...sorry. Was changing strings when the thought came to me so I hurried through the posting!!!

Get a battery tester and put it in your case along with a spare battery, safety first cause Murphy's waiting everywhere!

I just got an L3 a few days ago and I love it! What do you think of yours?

Also, what happens when the battery dies out? Does it only de-activate the preamp mode? Does the "normal" mode still work?

So how long does a battery usually last?

Are you kidding? If it is a big gig for you, why do you even think about not changing the battery? A 9 V battery can't be that expensive in the U.S.?
The batteries in my MMs all lasted very long. I usually change them every two years or so to prevent damage to the guitar in case the batteries start leaking.
Change your strings and put a new battery in and you are ready to go. Your MusicMan won't let you down...

The show was fantastic. For the past few years we've had the privilege of playing at one of the area most popular bars Papa Boos (on Buckeye Lake) the night before Memorial Day and Labor Day - the two biggest nights of the season. It was a killer crowd again last night - everyone ready to party summer out!!!!
