Largest String Gauge

Hello,

I have a EBMM Sterling 5 (rosewood neck) and wondered what the largest
Set of strings you can use without mods. I'd like to keep the stock nut if possible.

CUrrently using 050 070 085 105 135 Elixers with standard tuning. A little too loose
For me. I'd actually like to tune down to A Standard.

Anybody using A? What gauge do you prefer?

You can keep it all stock, you'll just need to do a bit of filing.
