Guys it is any bass in logan green and dargie will decide the pickguard.....If you like it fine if not there are still 80,000 choices left for you!

I don't mean to be the wet blanket, but any discussion of what we CAN'T have rather than what BP has offered us will be met with the above quote, over and over and over.

Focus, girls, focus.

Don't get me wrong. I'm utterly blown away that BP would ever consider such a thing...it's very, very cool.

Even showing us prototype and one-off basses in the first place is astonishing! Can you imagine ANY other manufacturer doing that?

Sure, I'm bummed because this incredible offer is for something that I really don't want, and of course I'm going to try to argue for something that I really do want. Wouldn't you? Hell, I even put up an offer to go above and beyond in support of a good cause. Just exactly what's wrong with that?

Whatever. I think it's all good. I won't buy a Logan (Lunger) Green bass, but enough of the knuckleheads will that the whole exercise will be worthwhile for all concerned.

Posting once what you would like is fine but to drone on and on after BP has already said what the color is going to be is not IMO. Who's being a "knucklehead"?

O.K. BP.........What is happening here is bloody awesome. I think it's very cool that you have listened to your loyal followers and are willing to do a limited run of DARGIE DELIGHT Bongos:) But as unlucky as I seem to be.....I am not a bass player. How about I get a thread started on the guitar side and you can do a limited run of this green.:D Maybe for a Axis SS or Silhouette with maple board and matching headstock.

And if the answer is No. I still have to say.....You guys have a damn fine company, you make amazing instruments, and you are one COOL CAT:D

Nope. BP has gone over why special one-offs are a huge, costly pain in the ass many times and it's very clear to me.

You should realize this green finish is nothing less than a gift from BP and EB to us. I say thank you and have already told Jack I'm in, and I'm very thankful I can afford to be part of the fun.

My thanks to all of the obsessive punters and to BP for listening!

Dargin you need to sign in the electronics chamber of each bass. That is the certificate of authenticity for the Dargin's delight.

I need to get off this thread or I will start wanting one more than I already do.

I am the only one in this thread that doesn't have a MM, no?

Enjoy those green basses, kids!

Oh we will. We will. ;)

"STFU about blue willya??"

What Dude said.

That Envy Green is more my fave but I kind of already have that with my Sherwood Green DPLEJO, that Martini green is just beautiful. And once again thanks for giving some of us "obsessed punters" (me and Worthington) something we've been pining away for.

Oldtoe Ben just called me.

Asked me to talk him out of buying an HH SR5 at a Big Chain Store. That he wouldn't even be tempted if he could get an HH SR5 in Martini Olive Green.

I said, "I can get you one of those."

I was REALLY tempted to claim to have vast powers over what happens at MM, but I said, "Sterling said any bass you want in that color."

In retrospect, I should have made myself seem more important.

So Ben's in, but don't tell his wife, he says.

Oh, I do, I do! Please read the post before you slap me around any more. I'm not the only one who mentioned other colors, but it seems I'm the only one who deserves abuse for doing so. Guess I look like a pinata, or something.

:D

Logan Green? Cool. Just not for me. Having it happen in the first place? Priceless!

Yep. I remember one night at Jack's house worshipping the green flamed bongo. Jack called a green bongo an impossible dream. But Ray and I believed. Thanks BP. Sometimes those Martini wishes come true. It'll look nice sitting between my green metal flake stingray and medallion gold bongo.
