So, I read some invitations for a lift, but the major question is: what is, if you're really planning on picking people up at LAX, the deadline in order to arrive at SLO in time?? I've found ticks from LA to SLO round trip for 294$ with UA and was wondering if this is a) a good price for such a distance Cheers, Tom.

Let's say 1 PM LAX Time. If I have to I will turn in the rental car I am getting in Tucson and rent a van from LAX to fit as many as I can. Your word is good enough for me. And don't worry, I will let you chip in for gas.

I hope I don't have to get out my school bus for this trip.
