I'd return itI really don't like Line 6 products
This. Aside from modeling amps/pedals/cabs on a computer. Line6 does zero for me in the real gig department.

so for a live gig you would go for the nova over the m13? this is my main concern, as long as i can easily change my settings for different songs id be happy. this was the appeal with the m13 the scenes, you can change your settings for lets say your metal band and your rock covers band. does the nova give you easy options like this?
im sorry for all the questions guys, just sick of loosing money on eqipment want to make sure im getting the best for my money.
Guys, have either of you actually tried the M13 or M9? They are totally different beasts, and you really can't compare them to the POD stuff. They use the Line 6 4 button stompbox algorithms, not the POD models - and to me they sound MUCH better. They also seem to be doing quite well in the way of reviews for effect quality. If you have tried them, then I'll back off. If not, I don't consider it valid to pan them because of experiences with the POD line...

Hehe - no worries Steve. I wasn't getting defensive at all (even though my last post may have sounded that way.) I just want to make sure that the OP has all the info he needs to make an informed decision. I also didn't want him to walk away thinking 'Line 6 effects stink' - when in fact they may work great for him. Regardless of the overwhelming feeling here that TC makes better sounding effects, the OP needs to pick the unit that best suits his needs.

the next batch of tc pedals are gonna be so simple clyde could use them....
right turn clyde.......
Ah....but simple doesn't necessarily mean better. It could mean less flexible. Care to dish more?Again, you guys have ME thinking about a Nova now...should I wait?
Mike
Your spot on Tommy,if you guys want to find out more about TC products or Line 6 then visit their user forums.the TC one is very good as i joined up recently to find out bout the G system.
Tommy how did you get on at live in the Marquee in Cork,Ireland last week.i missed da gig unfortunately as i was in spain on holiday.was hoping to meet up with you and buy you a pint of guinness!
not if you want a floor multi effects unit. down the road they will prob be coming out w/ killer individual pedals.from what i can see..... the multi effect units are pretty much in place, but the red g system is done. it's the same as the reg. g system w/o the artist pre-sets.the regular g system is in place.
the nova system is very cool too !!!
these things look bullet proof too. i feel the company is alot like ebmm in that they REALLY wanna produce the best sounding and most reliable stuff they can, and it shows. they have a facebook site so mabey this thread has eaten up enough of poppa's bandwidth ??
