Dargin, grounded? My only question is....where would the Martini Olive Green Bongo be while Dargin was restricted to his room?

Because I can travel.

Cheers!

You have indeed confirmed my deepest fears, that you are omniscient, all-seeing, all-knowing, ubiquitous, in fact. You're very welcome for the letter. Nothin' but the truth, big guy, and - as you can see - we appreciate you, too.

For all you do, this martini's for you.

yeah there is a bass named after me, but my instrument of choice is a single h bongo. If I had it to do over I would have come out with that first and the hh and hs later. The single pu is in a great position and lets you know just how great the electronics are.

I would post a pic of mine but I actually almost never have one of my own as artist relations loves to give my stuff away. I just ask Dudley for one when I have a gig.
Darg made me a le buttercream single h bongo that I will try to hang onto as well as the proto le buttercream stingray that will probably be sold on ebay for the clb. I did get a very nice one peice no pickguard figured ash sr for my recent 50th bd

You may not know this but Dargins birthday is coming up (3-25) I have thought of the perfect gift....a pimento pickguard for his martini bass.......How to drive Bovine to drink!

See? It is Sting!

I, for one, am glad that the HHs were the first out of the gate. You already know how I feel about that combo. The dual buckers in no way detract from the beauty and power of the electronics!

Perfect? Well, almost. Now we all know that it is better to give than to receive, so I think we should convince young Dargin that for his birthday, he should send me the Martini Bongo. He'll see the wisdom of this in the long run, I'm sure.

Well, I'm not SURE, but I'm willing to do my part.

BTW, boss, just so you know - I'm not JUST financing a psycho-Ric. Somewhere in the budget, if all goes well, is a single H Bongo. Does everyone with your last name intend to torture me until I get one?

But will HE talk to YOU? Therein lies the mystery.

Plus, you know, I'm famous* and you never make a big deal out of talking to ME.

It kind of hurts.

Mr. Bovine, Lord of the illustrious Bongo:

Most Recently I had the great pleasure of watching the Single H Bongo in action. Durning the most recent Casey Lee Ball Golf Classic, Albert Lee, Steve Lukather, Rodney Crowell, Brad Paisley, Jim Cox, John Ferraro, and Big Poppa treated partcipants to a night of ear savoring entertainment.

After hearing a smokin' solo by Big Poppa himself in Mustang Sally, I too concur that Mr. Bovine will be tortured until a single H Bongo graces his paws.
;)

Stay tuned for a torcherous post from my good buddy Goshi Ball. I believe that my eldest, Mr. Dargin will be the only one who knows who this man is.
