You should immediately fall in love with that bass. A Bongo 6 H has it all going for it.

Enjoy.

Good luck with that beast. I think 6 strings make some things actually easier when viewing as chords, but I have not stepped above a 5 with a high C yet. Enjoy!

Craig I have taken so much cr#p over the Bongo...from all sides...beginners, semi pros sission cats touring musicians...You know what? It makes me smile because I beleive that it is a very important instrument. If you take the time to understand it ...its crazy good. The problem is that I came out with the two pickup first with tons of sounds with the four band and pan control and people would dime eveything and say they didnt get it. I should have come out with the single H first but the 2h was too good a bass.

As for that color....I love it especially with the white pg.....THe single H has the pickup right over the love button

bp.... im not lying when i say this whole package is the missing link that ive been looking for. i have hit all the walls on my vintage pieces. i have hit the walls on 4 strings. i denied it for too long like an idiot because i was scared to leave my comfort zone, but i swear to god i just found the machine that will allow me to go to the place i see in my head. and trust me, its a place aint been gone before. this is gonna be fun. this is the most musically inspired ive been since 15yrs old and the fist time i played with a drummer and felt like i was strapped to a booster rocket goin 1000 miles an hour into space. its really kinda f-in me up man i aint gonna lie. heavy emotion. the response from the strings under my right hand, the tension, its flawless, absolutely perfect. i didnt think it existed... sorry cats, im a little freaked out right now. bear with me while it kinda unfolds on me. sh!t....

Craig, all I can tell you, man, is that I understand the feeling. I really do. And every time I pick up one of my Bongos, I remember how much fun it really is when you're doing it right.

Oh man you guys are like pushers. Tell me Craig, was the first one free? :D

All kidding aside, Craig, your posts are fantastic! I think we're all looking forward to you going to the place you see in your head. And as scary as that sounds, I can't wait!

Congrats!!!
