Continue having big fun, CY.
The Bongo Bass is all that & bag of chips, 4-5-or 6 strings.

I like mine & decided to keep it FOREVER!:D

holy he'll.

Yup, that's what I said too.
I stopped playing other basses (than Bongos) and stopped playing four strings too. The Bongo is the bass that can bring you to that realization. But that's nothing new to most people around here.

i have hit the walls on 4 strings. i denied it for too long like an idiot because i was scared to leave my comfort zone

Here's to hoping I've been that devil on your left shoulder. Plus now, with something other than a four banger, you can probably score all those live Taylor Swift gigs...you know, since you were too good to play with Ben Folds and all. Which is fine, because I really want backstage passes to the Today Show.

the response from the strings under my right hand, the tension, its flawless, absolutely perfect. i didnt think it existed... sorry cats, im a little freaked out right now. bear with me while it kinda unfolds on me. sh!t....

I've written a lot of love letters to the Bongo and maybe one or two to Sterling for having created such a thing. Also one to Shawn Colvin which led to a restraining order, but I forgive her as she is my next ex-wife.

What are you going to do with it, Craig? Don't you think you need a fiver now? I have to admit, being Lord Bongo and all, I can't wait to see what you accomplish with such a machine. All BS aside, I'm really pretty stoked that you get it.

Behold the Bongo!

OK I think that Sitonmybass needs to not take this personally...I believe they were kidding him in a good natured way.

I also think that this is a good reminder that people cannot tell the intent of your joshing in print. If you guys werent ribbing in good nature I really am disappointed and hope that you would at least apologize or refrain from alienating passionate quality members on the forum. You know what? remember it doesnt hurt you...it hurts Music Man and the forum.

Now back to our show.

Everybody hug......
