It was a tough choice. I went over and over the options but I finally picked the one that the majority had chosen. Good luck with the new Bongo and I hope you don't regret it later if you chose one of the other models listed.

I hardly think that color combo sucks at all!

(The SR5 has changed since this pic - it's now wearing Tort.)

I was going to call Pete and then I asked myself what kind of deal I'd make myself if I bought from me, and as it turns out, I decided to treat myself right nicely and figured I'd go ahead and give myself the business.

I don't know, has anyone ever dealt with me? I seemed to be honest and easy to get along with....hope I don't have problems with me later, though.

Just make sure you answer your emails to yourself promptly and respectfully. Responsiveness and politeness go a long way when building up a good rep.

Am I the only guy who noticed that all the choices are the same? And that he already ordered it so it doesn't really matter? I'm starting to really wonder about you people.

hows the teachin goin? what grade again....

I'm doing something called "Content Mastery" in the mornings....high school level. Content Mastery is for kids who are passing but having difficulty in certain subjects. I tell the Calculus students to get away from me, but have fun with history, spanish and all the social sciences.

In the afternoons, I work with high-school age kids who are developmentally challenged or who have learning disorders. Some are more functional than others, but all have definite disabilities. (These are not your average suburban misdiagnosed ADD kids.)

I applied for the 12th grade senior girls' "Sexual Misconduct With Middle Aged Bassists" workshop, but haven't heard back on that one yet.

In the mornings, I am way under-utilized. By lunchtime, I'm ready to go work at Best Buy or something. Then the afternoon rolls around and I feel so useful that the morning frustration fades away. Not that the afternoon kids are easy; they are tough, hard to get to and they will manipulate the situation/teacher if they can, but I'm still new enough to think I can make a difference, albeit a small one.

We'll see. It's still a toss-up, boss, and overall I'd still rather be Beth's secretary.

That is going to be a beauty and I think a pretty rare one.

That's what Scotty and I were talking about. Not many like it, and while I clearly bow to your mastery of the single hummer, the dual pickups are good for me.

the still suffering from post-Open House depression but a new Bongo always works,

How about Dude as a gest lecturer?
I've never met the Dude, but based on what's been said about him (and what he's said about himself), I think that the possible lawsuit permutations arising out of that scenario would make any lawyer's eyes glaze with dreams of avarice.

Surprisingly, The Dude can be quite lucid and well-informed when not having his liver provoked by unseemly chemicals.
