Hello all,*

I have buy a beautiful stingray 5 Lefty(hard to find) in second hand.
The sound and the shape are perfect but i have a problem.
The sound when the selector are in the bridge position i have a big sound but when i pass in the middle and neck position the sound are tiny and i need to boost the volume to hear the bass.

Someone know the problem ?*
Thanks.

Sounds like an issue with the switch or associated wiring.

What year is the stingray? They were wired differently depending on when they were made.

i have find the problem, the paws of the switch are completly used.
i need to find a new one.
Solene know where i Can buy it for the France ?
In the shop i can't... I have a message that this piece can't be buy in international :(

I would see who the EBMM distributor is in France, to see if they can get the part for you. There also may be other switches that will work. EBMM doesn't make switches, so you can possibly source a switch from an entirely different source.

Thanks for your help
I have search in France no distrubutor or second hand pièces..
Do you know some Switch from another distrubutor who Can work and put in without another hole in the pickguard ?

No, I do not. I would recommend contacting EBMM customer service to see if they can tell you which switches would work.

Also, according to the EBMM website, they certainly do have a distributor in France: Ernie Ball : le plus grand stock de France | Algam

Finaly is perhaps the pickup After a mail with the service
When the bass is connect and i change the selector and i TAP on the two coil with a screwdriver i Heard a sound of "ploc" only on the down coil not in the top coil...
I dont know if is the pickup or the Switch ...

Does it do that when you have the selector in the bridge position? That should be both coils on at the same time. Also you said that the selector switch was broken, did you not?

I think you should call a tech and arrange for them to look at it.
