Sorry, it can't be done.
I picked up a Luke last week immediately after playing a 20th Silo. The v-neck seemed awkward, the tone sounded thin and weak, and dare I say that the Luke even felt... slow. Bleh - not for me.
This morning when I was in GC Seattle exchanging some cables I noticed that they had a Luke on the rack so I went over and plugged it in to a nearby Fender Twin. Wow, it actually felt like the fast, smooth guitar that every Luke owner raves about. I now want one again
In other words unless you want your otherwise excellent guitars to go down a (perceived) notch, don't even pick up a 20th Silo. Make sure you have the money ready before you play it.
