Majesty colours??

Been wanting a Majesty ever since I saw John play the first one live, and I'm ready to pull the trigger. Problem is, I've never seen one in real life, and don't really have the option to. Obviously there is some personal preference involved, but is there any consensus on the best colour(s)? Including all the specials like Tiger Eye, the steakhouse one, etc.

No consensus on such matters, it's like food, and women =D

You are absolutely correct in wondering about the exact shade of colour.

I can tell you for a fact that all shades are darker in person. That's probably because when they take pictures of the guitars there is an 'excess' of light. The way they look on the pictures is quite representative of what they would look like were you standing on stage.

The finishes are much richer and stunning in person. Especially bright colours like blue, red etc.

May I ask what colour you've set your eye on?
 
I'd say you should look at each color and get a general idea of what you really want. But for a recommendation I would say check out the Enchanted Forest finish or the Imperial Blue finish on the monarchy.
